Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification

Applicant should have PhD in Chemical Science. Candidates who have submitted PhD thesis, but yet to receive the degree are also eligible.

But if selected, they will be receiving a reduced fellowship (equivalent to SRF position) until the PhD degree certificate is submitted.


Desired qualification and research experience: Past research expertise in the synthesis, and characterization of molecular organic and inorganic ferroelectric materials, and their properties exploration in the areas of ferroelectrics, piezoelectrics, and ferroelectric photovoltaics.

Skills in organic device preparation techniques, single crystal structure analysis, and dynamic optical properties investigation are preferred.

IACS Recruitment Research Associate Selection Process 

  • Applications will be shortlisted based on past academic records, and research publications, match the past research expertise with specific requirements for a given post and other academic parameters, as decided by the selection committee.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be communicated via their registered email and shall be called for an interview (hybrid mode) for the final selection.
